This summer was warmer than usual in many parts of our country. SandyBoy is looking forward to Fall!
Fall brings cooler temperatures which horses and riders both like – especially because the pesky flies and mosquitos start to leave!
September is a favorite month of mine here in Maine! We have wonderful days for both walking on the beach and riding our horses on the beach. As we walk, we often see and hear the migrating birds as they head to their southern destinations. There are nature preserves that welcome you to explore the changes of the season.
Apple orchards welcome you to come and pick your favorite varieties for pies, dumplings, and the enjoyment of that first crunchy bite into your favorite freshly picked apple. SandyBoy loves these apples! However, just like anything else too much of a good thing can create a slightly tipsy horse!!
Beginning of Fall Adventures
Fall harvest adventures are here! Going to an apple orchard and picking your favorite to share with a horse!! Admiring the sunflowers as they bounce in the breeze waiting to shed their seeds for the songbirds to enjoy. Walking through a forest or even your neighborhood observing changes of the season and enjoying the falling leaves of so many colors!! Yes, Life is Beautiful!!
