Just whispers, as this month also chuckles as it can bring remnants of winter to trick us!
However, March brings us hope for the coming of spring. Horses love the warmer weather rains that create muddy puddles in the pasture for a long awaited mud bath!!
SandyBoy especially enjoys rolling on one side and hiding it from me when I go out to the pasture. His golden coat shines in the sun until he turns around!
What a mess that needs to dry before you can even begin to think about cleaning him up… and it is still too cool up here for a real bath!!
My horse is a true leprechaun as he enjoys surprising me with his antics. We have gorgeous rainbows over the ocean following a spring rain and it always reminds me that my horse is my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

It is easy to get caught up in the chaos around us and the media frenzy aimed at increasing fear of the future into our thinking. We need to step back, take a deep breath and rejoice in our blessings!
What reminds you of the month of March? The wearing of the green by Irish friends celebrating their heritage especially St. Patrick’s Day is thankfully still enjoyed by many….some with a pint or two of green beer!! The luck of the Irish is a greeting extended to everyone. Our country needs to continue to celebrate individual cultural backgrounds and unite in the freedom of our diversity.
Children seem to be the best examples of creating friendships based on another child’s character not their ethnicity. The Lord told those who followed him during his time on earth that we need to become more like little children with their joy, trust and love of people. We can each make a difference while we are here in the lives of others. SandyBoy’s upcoming adventure will illustrate to children how, even the smallest of things, can make a difference!
